ABOUT ME: Lili Free MBACP
I work without judgment, employing a non-directive approach although I'm unafraid to challenge clients in an empathic way when it seems indicated. I see my clients as a whole being; mind, body and essence.
I have done a great deal of work on myself over many years which enables me to be more grounded and focused. I feel it’s unfair to expect clients to make themselves vulnerable unless I’ve done the same thing myself. Having explored my own edges and vulnerability I’m able to support my clients to do the same, at a pace that is client-centred.
EXPERIENCE
Graduated with an I.T.E.C. diploma in Swedish massage in 1992 and in 1996 completed a two year diploma course in humanistic counselling with the AMAP organisation, a training accredited by the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
Working privately from 1992 - 2016 I focused mainly on sex and relationship issues guiding couples towards becoming more intimate and honest. If single clients were looking for a partner, our work together gave them the confidence to find and maintain a successful relationship. I also ran holistic spa retreats and a monthly event for six years called Sensual Soirees. This was more than just a popular social gathering, the soirees transformed many participants’ lives, attracting people from all over the world.
